The Brand Legacy Commitment

Our Commitment
From the outset, we have set ourselves standards to run the type of sustainable business we can be proud of. Our principles include:

Workplace:
We believe wholeheartedly in creating an open and inspiring workplace where life–work balance is important as a measure of success and people are supported and trained.

Community:
We commit to a percentage of our time being used for pro-bono work to help local and national NGOs.

Environment:
We commit to running a carbon–neutral organization. We minimise our carbon footprint across a range of areas, and offset where carbon is unavoidable using the Climate Care scheme.
  • Travel: we commit to using public transport wherever possible, and only flying where there is no viable alternative. We offset all airline travel via approved schemes and expect our clients to do the same.
  • Energy. We reduce energy consumption wherever possible and use renewable energy suppliers.
  • Office supplies. We set ourselves reduction targets, recycle and re–use wherever possible and commit to using only sustainably sourced paper and other supplies.

Green Feast – exploring sustainable food

If you are intrigued to find out more about the complex meanings of sustainable food, why not attend the Green Feast conference on 12th March at the Living Rainforest, one of our sustainability partners, near Newbury. Lucy will be speaking at this event.
